Let get stated from the benifit of using fixed line bordband Streamyx.Well for certain people ,depend on your location mit is the most stable wired Internet so far,covered most of the area in Malaysia. The Combo packagewhich is RM60 permonth is fair enough to browse. The downside for the Streamyx.
For the new user,obviously the Streamyx Wired Internet service requires a telephone line to be present.You need need to pay for the installation and you only can access to internet from limited space(your home or office).Expatriates need to deposit RM1000 (USD350++) before they can start having the Internet ,for certain package meven no telephone is used for conversation for your fixed line phone,there will be a recurring bill every month .WTF.

Another big problem is the Customer support for the Streamyx .Okay ,they are ifriendly but when you make complains, they sometime suck..you need to keep on making complains until it is fixed or they will asking you some silly question such as "have you switch on the power of your modem?"And the 1800 tool reff number call isn't cheap to call..
