Streamyx Wired Internet Review

Below is the collection of user experience for the TMNet Streamyx Wired Internet (ADSL & SDSL) fro most Internet user over the net, discussion board. The Pros and Cons of using Streamyx.

Let get stated from the benifit of using fixed line bordband Streamyx.Well for certain people ,depend on your location mit is the most stable wired Internet so far, covered most of the area in Malaysia. The Combo packagewhich is RM60 permonth is fair enough to browse. TMNet Combo Packages doesn’t require a telephone line rental,it included the fixed line charge which is RM25 permonth. For others package ,the 1mbps is rm110, 2mbps is rm140 and 4mbps is rm160, all these current packages includes theFree ADSL modem. You can Check out new latest promotion prices from time to time at this blog as we will update the latest prices for you.The package mentioned all provide a Unlimited connection from you dooe steps.

The downside for the Streamyx.
For the new user, obviously the Streamyx Wired Internet service requires a telephone line to be present. You need need to pay for the installation and you only can access to internet from limited space(your home or office).Expatriates need to deposit RM1000 (USD350++) before they can start having the Internet ,for certain package meven no telephone is used for conversation for your fixed line phone, there will be a recurring bill every month .WTF.

Another big problem is the Customer support for the Streamyx .Okay ,they are ifriendly but when you make complains, they sometime suck..you need to keep on making complains until it is fixed or they will asking you some silly question such as "have you switch on the power of your modem?"And the 1800 tool reff number call isn't cheap to call..

Things to consider when choosing the right broadband service

How to to choose a suitable broadband package for yourself, despite of the heavy promotion running from these ISP,the prices and the packages that available for us sometime just made us to confuse to choice...there are too many factors to considers, not to mention the fake promised that may occurred, for instant the speed is not as fast as what the ISP promoted and the claimed coverage area may not always prove true...

Things to consider when choosing the right broadband service
study the package offering –

  1. Price
  2. Speed,
  3. Max data transfer
  4. Minimum period
  5. Coverage area
  6. Free Gifts (Modem)
  7. Etc....

You got to make sure you go through the terms & condition (which is quit boring ) before signing up suitable broadband package for yourself.

Check out the online reviews and obtain feedback from your friends(If anyone of them have used the service). .

Lastly if you i think the best option is to chose the fixed line ADSL bradband servic, and thinking that the line will never down..think again, there are always no guarantee and the quality always depends on the ISP..Wireless and Wired is not a issue anymore as the wireless technology is so advance nowadays and be able to carry high speed internet.e.g.3G,WIMAX,WI-FI.etc
